Ghosts of the Orange Bowl is a Facebook page with over 7,000 followers. Back in January 2023 they picked up on my blog post on the 40th Anniversary of my running of the Orange Bowl Marathon 1983, which finished inside the stadium. The only image I have for that race is approaching the finish line, inside the stadium.
The Orange Bowl was built in Miami back in 1937 that served as the home field for many local sports teams until 2008, when it was demolished to make room for the new Miami Marlins Stadium. Its most illustrious tenant was the Miami Dolphins (1966-1986).
